Quantum and Consciousness Often Mean Nonsense

My comment: Single-residue insertion switches the quaternary structure and exciton states of cryptophyte light-harvesting proteins was published on June 16, 2014. It links light induced amino acid substitutions and photosynthesis to odor-induced amino acid substitutions that differentiate the cell types of all individuals of all species. The connection from plant life to animal life is clearer in the context of quantum physics and quantum biology, which suggest a connection from ecological variation in light and nutrient availability to quantum consciousness.

My comment: This fits with what Dobzhansky (1964; 1973) knew about laws of biology that link nutrient-uptake to cell type differentiation and the pheromone-controlled physiology of reproduction via alternative splicings of pre-mRNA and RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions. “Let there be light” as a nutrient source may have inadvertently been included in “Nothing in Biology Makes Any Sense Except in the Light of Evolution.” (Dobzhansky, 1973).
If so, nothing about evolution makes sense in the light of what is currently known about the conserved molecular mechanisms that link light as a nutrient to quantum consciousness. That established link exists only if the mutations that perturb protein folding required for fixed amino acid substitutions are eliminated from the context of natural selection and the evolution of biodiversity.
In the context of quantum physics, ecological variation results in ecological adaptations via conserved molecular mechanisms that enable food odor exposure to create olfactory receptor genes. The de novo creation of olfactory receptor genes links quantum physics from quantum smell to quantum biology in my model. Whether it links light to quantum consciousness remains to be seen. However, connecting things at the level of quantum physics, quantum biology, and quantum consciousness is not nonsense. If it were nonsense, it would be portrayed in the context of a theory, like the one that population geneticists invented in their failed attempts to link mutations and natural selection to the evolution of biodiversity that is manifested in human consciousness.
That may be one reason this invited review on nutritional epigenetics was rejected. No one would review it! Perhaps it’s too complicated, or perhaps people just don’t like the refutation of neo-Darwinian pseudoscientific nonsense.
